Privacy Policy
When you purchase from our website, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our website we automatically receive your computer’s IP address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission we may send you emails about our website, new products and other updates.
Consent: when you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, you consent to us collecting your information and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for another reason, such as marketing, we will either ask you for your expressed permission, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. You may withdraw your consent for us to contact you at any time by emailing us at info@chilliski.co.uk or writing to us at Chilli Ski, Hazelhurst House, Ticehurst, East Sussex TN5 7LF
Payment: payment will be taken via Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe.
All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons are able to obtain plaintext card numbers; instead, they can just request that cards be sent to a service provider on a static whitelist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services (API, website, etc.).
